Live on campus and explore dorm-life, campus-life, and get hands-on STEAM training in a fully engaged community without the distractions of social media
Unplugged program
The Shad Unplugged program is a unique version of the campus experience that limits social media to create deeper connections, more presence, and stronger community. Participants trade in their smartphones for basic phones, removing distractions and making space for meaningful conversations, collaboration, and personal growth. Learning tech like laptops stays in, but social apps stay out—so you can fully engage with the people and ideas around you. It’s a one-month challenge in digital wellness that leads to lasting friendships and a truly immersive Shad journey.
